If you’re looking to lose weight/fat, then the only thing that will help is a calorie deficit. You have to be burning more calories each day than you are consuming. This means that you must either 1. eat less or be more mindful of the food that you choose to consume, 2. increase your activity levels throughout the day in order to expend more energy, or 3. actively build more muscle mass so that your body requires more energy for maintenance throughout the day. This exercise? It will certainly help to strengthen your back and will be a good addition to any floor bodyweight exercise routines. However, that does not mean that it will specifically help you to lose fat from your back.
