    The unique Juan Fernandez Firecrown, Sephanoides fernandensis, is an insular hummingbird restricted to only one island in the Juan Fernández Archipelago, nearly 700km off the coast of Chile. Classified as critically endangered, it is one of the most threatened birds in Chile and the world.
