Handmade Timeline Accordian Books

a beautiful DIY family timeline accordion book

Pool noodles spray painted with foam flame. Fun prop for reading around the campfire!

Story of the World timeline cards. Could print them 'baseball card' size and store them in 3 ring binder sleeves for baseball cards.

I like this poster for center choice. The students put a clothespin with their name on it on one of the dots, when all of the dots for a center are full they need to make another choice. Saves space and is neat and tidy, Love it!

How to Teach History With Timelines

Make history fun with timelines! How to Teach History With Timelines |

This video "Why Study History?" would be great to show students towards the beginning of the year to promote their excitement to learn history. This could spark great critical discussions of why it is important to study history and understand the world around us.

Cool interactive word wall!! Just use a clothespin to hang the words on the ribbon! I am going to use this, one ribbon for each subject I teach! This will allow each class to have a "word wall" with my limited space!
