Freedom from a wheelchair…

Freedom from a wheelchair… I love these pictures. I hope the boy enjoyed doing them and liked the photos.

Artist Sue Austin has been in a wheelchair since 1996. With the support of scuba-diving experts, Austin has created a wheelchair fit with a propeller and fins that enable her to steer the wheelchair underwater. This wheelchair is part of her ongoing project called ‘Freewheeling’, which focuses on the intersection of art and disability. http://www.susanaustin.co.uk/

Accu-Grips Wheelchair Grips. The Accu-Grips are much-needed, state-of-the art wheelchair grips that replace the existing leg rest and wheel lock grips on manual wheelchairs. The unique design and bright yellow color enable wheelchair users and their caregivers to more readily locate the grips.
