A scruffy, young, male Blue Wren in his first molt i think. This was shot through the glass of my kitchen window. Surprised at how well it turned out considering.

They are attracted to bush fires and hawk around the edges; their Mandinka name (in The Gambia) means 'cousin to the fire.' This species occurs across sub-equatorial Africa.
