Gateway Arch, St Louis, Missouri
St Louis, Missouri -- This photo makes the arch look like it sits perpendicular to the Mississippi River, but it's parallel to it. The arch is about 630' tall and an amazing trip up inside. I grew up near here and have a photo of the arch I took myself with a little Brownie black and white camera when it was about 1/2 finished.
St Louis, Missouri- home Sweet Home!
ST LOUIS ARCH. Going up in the elevator in the St Louis Arch is perhaps the oddest part of this huge arch.
St. Louis Arch - The first of many forms of architecture that I fell in love with. I haven't seen it in person since I was a young girl, but I remember that day.

One of the most beautiful cities. Great museum, third largest zoo and its FREE, Botanical Gardens, Science Center, Fun House, Wax Museum, great food!
Going this summer, can't wait!
If you get a chance, go to the Muny and see a Broadway show. They use to have free seats in the back, but I personally like sitting in the middle. Also need to go to the Pasta House, it's underground. And across the river is Fairview Heights, Illinois, 10 minutes out o St. Louis, every store and eatery you can imagine. And last, check out St. Charles, Missouri, great shopping. Have fun Tenay.
Thanks for the tips not familiar with the area.
Originally from there.
