"Ethiopian opal geode sometimes you feel like a rock: hard, angry, damaged. But sometimes there is an opal inside you: this otherworldly beauty, the potential to be soft and loving and kind" really beautiful opal, my birthstone
Earth geodes are created when gasses become trapped in the layers of rock - usually volcanic rocks. Crystalline structures form on the inside, surrounded by harder minerals - for example amethyst surrounded by agate.
Opal Butte crystal with contra luz color with spectacular visual effect. It looks like an underwater view of the ocean floor as light shines through it. There's a surreal quality about the gemstone that looks like a pocket-sized aquarium.
Looks like a Septarian Geode. A Geode has open space inside which hasn't filled in all the way. When it fills all the way up and there is no open space it is called a Nodule. A Septarian Nodule in this case :)
