These hearty open-faced sandwiches are the Texas barbecue cousin of classic sloppy joes. A mixture of diced tomatoes, ketchup, barbecue sauce, and, if you like, jalapeños coats browned ground beef. Serve it with shredded cheddar cheese atop frozen garlic Texas toast.
Beefy Pasta Skillet 1 lb.ground Beef 1/2 c onion 1 can Tomato Soup 1/4 c water 1 tbsp.Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c shredded Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 c corkscrew pasta, cooked,drained Cook the beef, onion,drain. Stir soup, water, Worcestershire, cheese and pasta in and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
