I'm currently reading this (Feb 2012) and loving it. Set in the same time period as Downton Abbey so I'm getting double the WWI excitement.
I have a SIL that says she doesn't like reading and every time she says it, my mind goes blank because I just CANNOT understand it.
Love her concise, elegant phrases. Read it in summer, outside. Or in winter when you want it to be warm outside.
Amazing true story. Not too many books have ever moved me to tears, but this one did... GREAT READ!
