That's true! Or you didn't want to deal with dial-up, or if a family member was in the phone.

I remember getting one of these. Sadly, I do not know what ever happened to it.

Well, in my case, I'm usually looking for my cell phone in the bottom of my purse, but it does the same trick...

So true! Although, I was terrified to have one of my parents or siblings pick up the phone while I was on it, instead of having to talk to their parents..
