Time-out bottles. Fill a bottle with 3/4 water, one bottle of glitter glue, & ultra fine glitter. Then send this bottle with your child to timeout and they can watch it settle to calm them. Once the glitter is settled their time is up!

Great for toddler fine motor skills. Clean liter bottle etc. fill with pipe cleaner pieces about 1/2 inches long. Make sure to use different colors. Seal container, give child a magnet of some sort. The pipe cleaner pieces follow the magnet. Actually fun to watch.

If only more people took time to do this for their children!!! "What I love is that each morning, Charlotte and Amelia rush to their envelopes to see what we've written. The notes are sometimes a simple observation of a charitable act or a quick drawing to make them laugh. I love that Charles and I force ourselves to take a minute each evening to think about why we love our children. It's my version of Oprah's gratitude journal.
