I like this idea. Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year. Good way to keep things in perspective.

I like the idea, I have an assortment of old leather that I could use for this slip on, glass protector "cozy." I like the handle, nice touch. Mason Jars are "in" too. Could use this on the go instead of those K-cups that cause health problems anyways.
