Febreze....For Less! What You Need: 2 cups warm water; 1/4 cup liquid fabric softener; and 1 tsp. baking soda. Simply mix these three ingredients together in a spray bottle, shake well, and get spraying! The great part about this recipe (aside from how well it works and how much money you can save) is that the scent isn't terribly strong or overpowering.

Carpet cleaner. I used it and it works very well. You'd think with the peroxide that it would bleach the carpet out, but I was at that point with my carpet (it needs to be replaced but we don't have the $$$) where it didn't matter either way. It works! Then I went over it with my steam mop. My carpet definitely looks better!!!

The only stain remover you will ever need! 1 part Dawn dishwashing liquid 2 parts hydrogen peroxide I poured the cleaner right on the spots and used an old toothbrush to make sure it really got into the carpet. I let it sit for maybe 30 seconds and then I blotted it with a wet towel. carpet, clothing, etc
