Another Pinner said: I just tried this - I will NEVER buy Comet, Soft Scrub, etc again. Used in the tub - sprayed on, left for about 1/2 hr - wiped down like nothing there. it is sparkling! - 1 cup White vinegar heated up (microwave 1-2 min) with equal amount blue Dawn, gently shake and spray on and wait and then wipe away the soap scum. It was absolutely worth the hype! It works like an expensive gel shower cleaner, but way cheaper!

these people wanting to cut soap scum i tell you and i live by this method take some good ole fashioned straight from the bottle shampoo and a rag or scrubber and very easily will that soap scum come off i do it when i am getting out of the shower before my final rinse works great!!!

This ain't called "Miracle Soap Scum Remover" for nothin'. I have never found anything to clean soap scum as well as this does! Fair warning: Your bathroom will reek of vinegar for hours, especially if you let it sit overnight (which is really the key), and your arm will be sore from all the scrubbing. But... it's totally worth it in the end when it looks like you have a BRAND NEW shower.

The best window cleaner....I've been using this for several easy!

Tub & Shower Magic (Dawn & White Vinegar.) a pinner says- I made this stuff and it's fantastic! You should see my sinks, showers and faucets They look brand new! Must try.

Shower Cleaner - I had previously pinned this, but now that I have tried it I am pinning it again. Seriously the easiest and best shower cleaner I have ever tried. Everything came off with no scrubbing. 1 cup vinegar (heated) mixed with 1 cup original blue Dawn. Spray on shower and let sit for 2 hours. Wipe off with a wet sponge.

I tried it in both bathrooms. I sprayed the showers down heavily with the mixture, closed the doors and turned on the exhaust fans. The one shower is generally easy to clean with white tile and white grout. I panicked when I saw the walls after 2 hours. I had a bubble mess once I started to wash down the walls. The grout initially remained blue and freeked me out. Once I was all done washing the walls and getting the bubbles under control with cold water, I could not believe how the tiles sparkled. No water spots. Beautiful shine. The other shower is very old and generally a problem to clean. I had to do the lower half and extra 2 times to get all the soap scum. I could clearly see where the mixture sat because there were clean strieks. I will definately use again. I found another suggestion that stated to put the mixture in a prefilled sponge with a despensing handle (like the ones you might use in a kitchen) and periodically wash the walls while taking a shower.

DIY Wood Floor Cleaner - Mix 1/2 cup vinegar and 10 drops of lemon juice together in a bucket. Use it to mop the floor. Do not over-saturate a wood floor. Just a light wipe down so it will dry quickly.

The one simple ingredient you have in your kitchen that you can use to clean stainless steel! So good to know!

It works like a don't even have to wait , it comes off right away

Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use as a non-toxic and yummy smelling "green" cleaner. I love using vinegar to clean with but have always wondered how to make it smell better - can't wait to do this!
