With the advent of stricter emissions laws it can be challenging for the owners of vintage vehicles to keep them up to date and in legal drivable condition. David Giametta has come up with a novel solution to this dilemma with his “Reinventing a Vespa” project. In an ingenious example of upcycling, the Australian designer transformed the body of a 1968 Vespa Spirit into a laptop workstation and a Mid-Century modern style lounge chair.
