Have you heard of Wonderopolis? It's a great (FREE) website that has a different video each day. Great for teaching vocab, to use during those "extra" five minutes, or as meaningful morning work! Love it my new Wednesday morning routine!
Wednesday Website: Front Row
Front Row is a fantastic, free website that allows students to practice math at their independent levels allowing for easy differentiation!
Shiritori: make each column of students a team and give them space on the board to write. You should write one word on the board and a member from each team should rush to the board to write a word that starts with the last letter of your word.
Perfect activity for the first day back from Christmas break (along with the snowball fight guessing game)! Have students acknowledge one of their accomplishments from the current year and a goal for the new year!
Seriously worth it for any teacher/school counselor out there--Take a couple minutes to watch this video--these kids put so much heart into this--I just love it. Can't wait to show it to the students where I work. Respect Rap - for PBIS
