LEONBERGER PUPPY ¤¥¤ Originally from Germany, this jumbo-sized dog breed is a mix of Newfoundlands, longhaired Saint Bernard, and Great Pyrenees. He needs a good deal of exercise, attention, and space, but with the right owner, he can be a friend like no other.

Beorn is a mystery mix puppy we adopted from a rescue about a month ago. The rescue had him listed as a Newfoundland / Lab mix, but we're not sure what he actually is and would welcome guesses. He has the coloring of a Leonberger, but not quite the size. He is very active, sweet, loves to play (constantly), and follow us around the house.

Newfoundlands are being crossed with St Bernards today... It explains why they are different in confirmation... Not sure if it has helped the breed with known medical issues... Was told this by a man that has one and loves them!
