Tin Tops I remember playing with one of these when I was about two....many, many moons have passed.....:--)
Spinning Top ... I remember having one of these...sharing with my brother and sister. Good memories!
Spinning Top I remember being in my mom's room while she was getting ready to go somewhere and I spotted this on the shelf in her closet. I asked what it was and my mom said it was my dad's motor. I believed her. Of course I was only five and I didn't get a good look at it. I never even recognized it when "Santa" left it for me that Christmas!

MTV actually used to play music videos all day long back in the day. You youngins have no idea about that, lol. Those were the days! #IWantMyMTV
I miss the old MTV! This new crap on there is awful. I would pay extra money if they would play reruns of old MTV broadcasts from the 80s and 90s! Someone should create an MTV rewind channel or something!
TRL, music videos every morning before 9 and every night after 11, spring break live...ah, yes, those were the days
Now you have access to every music video ever made... Better than MTV playing 'Thriller' over and over
MTV, back in the day...when they actually played music videos you would watch all night

Roller Skating Rinks. Such fun! I LOVED to rollerskate, & when I was in the 5th & 6th grade, my best friend & I went EVERY weekend. It was .50 cents for 4 hours. It was a HUGE rink. We had so much fun. I could almost skate better than I could walk
Dad had a roller skating rink ... I barely remember skating rink but do remember all the skates in the basement we played with ... roller rink - old school :)
roller skating rinks I couldn't wait to go every Friday night and wear pom poms on my skates. We would have a spotlight skate, where the boys would shine a flashlight and if he shined it on you, you would skate with him. Also we would see who could skate through 2 glass coke bottles without tipping them over.
Friday nights in middle school spent at the roller skating rink, skating to such classics as "Locomotion."
Roller skating! I loved the Roller Rink! They still have the same skates at our local skating rink!

S&H Green Stamps (1896-1981) S&H Green Stamps (also called Green Shield Stamps) were a form of trading stamps popular in the United States between the 1930s and late 1980s. They formed a rewards program operated by the Sperry and Hutchinson company (S&H), founded in 1896 by Thomas Sperry and Shelly Hutchinson. During the 1960s, the rewards catalog printed by the company was the largest publication in the United States and the company issued three times as many stamps as the U.S. Postal Service. Customers would receive stamps at the checkout counter of supermarkets, department stores, and gas stations among other retailers, which could be redeemed for products in the catalog. S&H Green Stamps had a number of competitors, including Triple S Stamps (offered by Grand Union Supermarkets), Blue Chip Stamps, and Plaid Stamps (a project of A&P Supermarkets). My grandma used this type of washer when I was a kid. The clothes were washed in the tub part and then you took them out and ran them through the wringer (rollers at the top) to squeeze out the water before you hung them out on the clothes line. One of the girls I went to school with ran her arm through the wringer...It was a scary thing!
My mom used a wringer washer just like this for a family of 7 . . . Dad is still washing with one to this day! They never owned an automatic and never will!
