    Brandy Whitt-Brown, these will actually dry as is. The trick is to harvest them when they're slightly crunchy on the bush. If you can keep them in water until completely dry, that's even better. I did an entire dresser full of them last week with no water and they didn't wilt! Yay! :)

    Have to cut them when they turn the darker colors in the fall! Usually October! They stay until your sick of them or until they collect too much dust!!

    Immediately after cutting, crush the tips of the steams, put the stem in dry alum and then into water, forget about them for several weeks. You should have beautiful soft blooms. It worked for me.
