      DIY: Modern Colorful Mobiles - (Temporary) Room or Party Decor - this uses vellum and a sewing machine, but I'd imagine you could accomplish the same look with cardstock

      Colorful mobile decorations! Project calls for vellum strips sewn to form the mobiles, perfect for an uncomplicated venue with high (but reachable) ceilings. You could also do this with construction paper and glued/stapled yarn for kids party decor at home or even in the park (kids could choose the color strips, arrange and with help, put together as take-home favor)
