Bible Study on the book of John.John poetically described Jesus with symbolic names significant to common people. The beauty presented in the Gospel of John can be implemented in our lives today. "Pilgrim's Progress in Today's English" by John Bunyan. Read Fall 2013. Both Christian & Christiana. Encouraging allegory, so glad to finally read this Christian classic! Love the "final journey over the river" analogy for death. Did he know 338 yrs ago that his book written while in jail would still be read today? No, but God rewards faithfulness. John Bunyan, yet another pilgrim has been spurred on by your classic work. Thank you.
