Hochtief Solutions’ Vidar jack-up vessel on route to work on offshore wind farms and oil and gas plants in the North and Baltic seas. Built at the Crist shipyard in Poland, Vidar is the sister ship to Thor and Innovation.  With a large deck and cargo capacity, plus a 1200T crane, Vidar can speed up and therefore reduce the cost of installing the very latest-generation of larger offshore wind turbines in water depths up to 50m and in so doing (Courtesy Hochtief).
