Slow cooker Chicken Adobo. I edited the recipe for a lesser serving size, but found that the amount of sauce was going to be too little. So I kept adding more of the liquid ingredients, tasting along, until it was going to be enough and until it tasted right. There is only one dish that I love extra sauce with and it is this one. Adobo Pig’s Feet    2 - 3 lbs	Pork shanks  1 cup 	Soy sauce  1 cup 	Water  2/3 cup 	Vinegar  6 cloves 	Garlic, mashed or minced  3 - 4 	Bay leaves  1 tsp 	Black peppercorns, whole  3 - 4 Tbs 	White sugar     Wash and drain pork shanks and place in large pot. Add the rest of the ingredients except the white sugar. Bring to a boil, cover then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 1 hour and stir occasionally. Add sugar and continue to simmer uncovered for another 15 minutes

Chicken Adobo-----combination of stove top and broiler to char.  Reduce the sauce before broiling so can brush the chicken with sauce as broils.  Watch it closely and DO flip and baste both sides.  Serve with extra sauce.
