The Hardcover of the The Great Wave: A Children's Book Inspired by Housai by Veronique Massenot, Bruno Pilorget

I can't believe I haven't posted this book yet! It's been a favorite of mine for years! Chameleons make great subject matter for art projects in any grade and the bright illustrations and easy to read text of the book 'Chameleons Are Cool' make learning about them all the more interesting for children.

In this book, children are taught to express themselves in almost any way while creating art. It may also open their mind up to no ideas or ones they may not have wanted to use because of outside forces. This book also reminded me of a movie, Billy Madison. The main character has to go back to grade school to gain control of his father’s company.
