Ruddy Shelduck (SE Europe, Asia, China & NW Africa). It prefers inland habitats @ freshwater or salty lakes & rivers in open country. An opportunistic, nocturnal feeder, it has an omnivorous diet of plants, insects, fish, frogs and worms.
Clithon corona - the horned nerite snail. Freshwater, brackish, or saltwater; require brackish conditions to reproduce. Max size: 0.5" diameter. Omnivorous; voracious algae-eaters, may need dietary supplementation. Very sturdy little guys, the horns can prick through human skin if handled too roughly. Reputation for escape and can survive for some time out of the water.
