This is my daily behavior log that I created. It is initialed each night and returned to school. At the end of the week I fill out the bottom portion and parents sign and return it on Monday. My parents love this behavior log! It is also good for writing little reminder notes, too.
Daily / Weekly Behavior Log. Could try this and send home in Friday Folders have parents sign and return. Parents are aware of how students are behaving. Love this idea! So using this next school year!
Daily / Weekly Behavior Log. I love so many of the behavior charts available, but this one really stuck out for some reason. Behavior logs allow parents to see how their kid acts at school and the teacher can provide ideas for how to improve bad behavior based on what she observes. Logs are great because if you have parents initial them, they are aware if their child is having issues before the teacher calls to let them know something is wrong.
This is a daily behavior log that has a weekly behavior chart included.
Good for students on a behavior plan
Grade ONEderful: Respect AND Nomination T-Chart for Respect plus ideas for teaching about it (book recommendations too)
Character Education, Idea, Anchor Charts, Social Skills, School Year, Respect Lesson, Behavior Management, Classroom Management, Kid
Nice start to the school year: This would not be used as an anchor chart; but, rather instructional chart. Your lesson is clearly "goaled" by the completed chart. This is a good way to develop concepts. Give them a concept, such as respect...ask what does it look like / what does it sound like, etc... (Can be used for honesty, integrity, fairness, etc.
This will be a great ‘Classroom Management’ anchor chart for me to use. Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom and I have always said when we are listening to someone whether it is a story, an idea or a question "We show respect with our eyes, our ears and our hearts."
‘Classroom Management’ anchor chart. Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom. Love this!!
Empathy Map: Looks, sounds, feels like ‘Classroom Management’ anchor chart. Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom
Classroom Management anchor chart. I like how it explains what it "looks like." That seems to always be an issue with kiddos! Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom
‘Classroom Management’ anchor chart. Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom. I should have used this with my freshman Monday!
‘Classroom Management’ anchor chart. Great for teaching the kids the respectful behavior you expect in the classroom I used the printed out version (complete with pictures - they were 3 to 4 years old after all) of this with my Kindy prac class. Thanks to my teacher modelling its use throughout the term too, it worked a charm.
Teaching respect lesson idea:) excellent social skills activity can then role play scenarios!
good character education idea

4 Behavior Management Questions Idea-print on cardstock (index card size or smaller) then laminate. Place on student desk as you walk by monitoring the class. No need to speak. Give the student a chance to self correct the behavior. I would change the last question into a statement. Please, do that now.
These behavior management questions can be extremely useful. During my last Prac, the school's behavior management plan was extremely similar to this one. The moment students began misbehaving, teachers would ask 'What are you doing?', 'What should you be doing?' and 'What's going to happen if you keep doing this?' until eventually they would be sent away. This behavior management technique proves extremely useful when used correctly and consistently.

Each day that a student was absent, I placed this form on his or her desk. I assigned a student in the same team to write down any classwork or homework assignments on the chart at the bottom. If I handed out a graphic organizer or worksheet to complete, I asked the student helper to paperclip it to the back of this form and write the title of the assignment on the front. When the absent student returned, he or she was given the packet of make-up work which included due dates. As each as
