The nervous guards look in all directions, wary of ambush. A beautiful and mysterious young noble woman in a green dress on horseback rides alongside the carriage. Upon seeing her, the bandit is immediately smitten. From the artist: Robin Hood is one of my favorite characters. I've created a few images featuring him, but have been looking to do more. For this work, I wanted to depict the first time Robin Hood lays eyes on the Maid Marion. It turned out to be one of my most complex images made to date, and I like the way it turned out.
