alphabet for starters, each monster is cut from a folded piece of paper then placed on the sticky side of contact paper. This could be a game... you pick a letter for yours, I have to find the same one for mine.
Gardening for Letters- put letters on pool noodle sections with a sharpie, and kiddo can pull ribbon to get carrot with letter out. So cute- can modify for sensory table indoors. Note to self- Could do a cute gardening theme. Pick green beans, tomatoes, corn, pull lettuce. Place Upper case letters on carrots, lower case on something else, movement activity on another vegetable. hmm...
Make letters disappear. Write letters (or shapes or numbers..or older kids do words) on tissue paper or coffe filter. Call out and have your child find specific ones and let them drop water on it. In the end you will have a neat window decoration for the light to come through :)
This is a great sensory tool for younger students who are first learning the letters of the alphabet. It is a fun and engaging way to learn the letters.
