Giles Lytton Strachey (1 March 1880 – 21 Jan 1932): British writer & critic. A founding member of the Bloomsbury Group; author of Eminent Victorians. Best known for establishing new form of biography in which psychological insight & sympathy are combined w/ irreverence & wit.
