Cream Horns Recipe by Samara A - Key Ingredient
Cream Horns 1 Package Frozen Puff pastry squares 1 Egg beaten with 1 Tbl of milk Cream horn molds Confectioner’s sugar for dusting Cream filling for the cream horns: 8 Ozs cream cheese, room temperature 1 Cup heavy whipping cream, chilled 1/2 Cup Confectioner’s Sugar 1 Tsp Vanilla extract Fresh Blueberries or Raspberries (optional) In the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the cream until it starts to slightly thicken, add the sugar and vanilla and beat a 30 seconds longer on medium speed just to incorporate the sugar into the cream, remove from the mixer bowl into a clean cry bowl and set aside. Replace the attachment to the paddle and beat the cream cheese on high speed until smoothed. Replace the attachment again to the whisk and while the mixer is on low speed, gradually add the cream mixture, once all the cream mixture is in the bowl, increase the speed to high and beat for 1 or 2 minutes, just until the cream thickens enough to form stiff peaks. Refrigerate the filling mixture until time of use. On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry dough into 1/8” thick rectangle measuring 15” by 10”. Cut dough lengthwise into 1” wide strips with a pastry wheel or a knife. Take a strip of dough and squeeze around the tip of mold to form a seal. Wrap the strip around the mold, overlapping consecutive turns slightly. Seal end of the dough at the large end of mold. Place sealed edge down on a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strips of dough. Refrigerate molds on baking sheet about 30 minutes to allow the dough to relax. Heat oven to 375F. Brush pastry with egg. Bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Cool completely. Fill with the Cream cheese filling and fresh raspberries or blueberries if using. Dust with confectioner’s sugar and serve.

kermrole cream horns
Even the name - kremrole, shamrole - speaks of German/Austrian origin. A cream or foam roll. But it would be hard to find a patisserie, or a wedding in Slovakia where the cream horns weren't there. ......................................................................... Už samotný názov - kremrole, šamrole - hovorí o nemeckom/rakúskom pôvode. Krémová, alebo penová rolka. Ale dnes už asi ťažko nájdete cukráreň, alebo svadbu kde by tieto plnené trubičky neboli. Kremrole - Cream Horns For horns: 1 package (320 g) puff pastry, pre-rolled neutral oil to grease tubes 1 egg for egg wash For cream: 3 egg whites 150 g granulated sugar 3 teaspoons lemon juice powdered sugar for dusting Preheat oven to 200˚C. Pre-greas the metal tube (if not teflon coated) with oil. Cut the pastry along the longer side to the strips wide about 2.5 cm. Carefully wind the strips on your metal tubes so that the strips overlap one another. Place them on the baking tray lined with baking paper so that the end of the pastry is down under. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool for a while. Once the metal tubes are cold enough to hold in hands comfortably, twist gently to release and remove the metal part out. Allow to cool completely. Put the egg whites and sugar for the cream into a heatproof bowl and whisk using an electric mixer. Whisk in a double boiler (bain-marie) for about 10 minutes till stiff peaks form. When done, remove the bowl from the steam and whisk the lemon juice into the cream. Transfer the cream into the pastry bag with a star-tipp ∅ 6 mm and fill up the horns. Dust with powdered sugar. 12 pieces ......................................................................... Krém preložte do cukrárenského vrecka s hviezdicovým nadstavcom s ∅6mm a naplnite trubičky. Posypte práškovým cukrom. 12 kusov

Strawberry Cream Horns Recipe.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now that Thanksgiving is over we begin in full swing preparing for Christmas. Here is another cookie that is a special Christmas treat. I love creating foods for Pink Saturday. These Strawberry Cream Horns are a perfect holiday or special event cookie. These little delicacies are an extra special cookie for when you want something out of the ordinary. A crisp outer sugar cookie shell painted inside with chocolate and filled with strawberry cream. They are small two bite cookies that always draw a crowd. Strawberry Cream Horns Recipe 1 egg 1/4 C. melted butter 1/2 C. sugar 2/3 C. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1/3 C. milk 1/2 tsp. almond flavor 1 C. semi-sweet chips 1 tsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 C. heavy whipping cream 1 C. chopped fresh strawberries, raspberries or a combination of both ( I used both) 1/2 C. powdered sugar Lightly mix the egg, then add the butter and sugar. Mix with a whisk. Whisk in the flour and salt and end with the milk and flavoring. Heat a non-stick griddle to 300 degrees. Using scant tablespoon of batter, spread out into about a 3 inch circle. Make the batter as thin as possible. Let cook until golden then flip over and let cook about 1 minute. While still hot form into a cone around a cone shaped form, letting cool until it holds its shape. Only do about 3 at a time. Melt the chocolate chips with the oil in the microwave by heating 30 seconds, then stir whether it looks like it needs it or not. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring each time so as not to scorch. At the end, let the heat of the chocolate finish melting the remaining chips, stirring until smooth. Paint the inside of the cooled cones with the chocolate, dipping the tops in the chocolate. Put in the fridge to set the chocolate. Put the fruit in the blender or food processor and puree. Press through a sieve to remove the seeds. You should have a scant 1/2 C. puree. Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then add the powdered sugar until firm peaks. By hand, blend in the puree. Place the whipped cream in a pastry bag with a large star tip. Pipe into the cones. Refrigerate. Makes about 24. Take one and enjoy it during your holiday preparations. Just a few pink shots from our Thanksgiving in Cabo. We enjoyed perfect weather in a perfect setting. I will be posting this with Pink Saturday Just Something I Whipped Up Monday International Cookie Party 12 Weeks of Christmas Cookies Foodie Friday Saturday Swap
These sugar cookies are so adorable shaped like ornaments and topped with edible glitter and a large silver dragee. My daughter in law Audra made them for her two year old's birthday. Pipe contrasting colors and draw a toothpick through to get the great designs For complete recipes see here. Almost too pretty to eat, but we managed! Here is some more of the party. Adele had a pink Happy Birthday tree for her party. The beautiful pink cake was made by dipping pirouette cookies in pink molding chocolate and drizzling with white molding chocolate. I love the effect. Everything was finished off with a pretty pink ribbon. Audra also made these adorable North Pole cupcakes. You can imagine they were a big hit with the children. What an adorable party mixing in the fun decorations of the season with the birthday theme.

AUSTRIA: Schaumrollen: Puff pastry rolls filled with soft vanilla meringue. These incredibly sweet, very messy pastries are a favorite at Christmas markets and other open-air events in Austria. Think of a much lighter, less dense version of a cannoli.
