I'm a republican & not agree with any of those. Such a generalization. I guess since you're a democrat you a pot-smoking, tree-hugging baby killer?

Shane, it sounds like you are not a republican but still call yourself republican for some reason. You and I probably agree on quite a bit, so this isn't an attack on your beliefs. What I'm saying is the equivalent to "If an apple is a small red tree fruit, then why would you call a small red root vegetable an apple?" If even just one qualifier conflicts with the definition, we can consider using a different word, no? This democrat/republican polarization is more like choosing a team than helping one another and it is at the root of our political mess. We need to make sure we're not feeling loyalty to ancient words that define ever-changing parties. Because that desciption, Shane, some people do believe, and they should be called republicans. I'm glad you don't agree with them.

lol! Thank you Judy I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. And just because you're a Republican or a Democrat doesn't mean you completely agree on every single topic with your respective political party.

I agree with Shane. I consider myself republican, yet am not for any of those things. And yes, PR, I do call my self republican. I think there are several types of apples. I might be a green one, Shane might be a red one. If republican is the qualifier, I don't think there is one specific definition...

You meant that you don't judge GAYS, right Caitlyn? Because your first post is very judgmental. Anyway, I thought this country was founded on freedom of religion, which would mean not everyone is going to believe what you believe.

^^^ could anyone imagine if we started making laws because of another religion. Any other religion....wouldn't even be an option. Religion and state are suppose to be separated.

It's sad the government should even have to step in because mothers are unloving and irresponsible enough to want to kill their own children because they don't want to take care of them.

A principle this country was founded upon is in the Constitution "...if the government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and institute new government, deriving its power from the consent of the governed.". The people who need to leave the country are the ones too lazy to memorize the US Constitution and be anle to live by it while in this country.
