Jenny Kee ---- a couple years back -- Clothing designers pilfered all they could from different cultures and mish-mashed them together. As un-matchy as possible. I kinda love it, maybe resent it a teensy bit, but mostly -- just wish i had been aware so I coulda got something like what this girl is wearing. Made of knit. How comfortable and insane ;-)

Sao Ch’ing Niang Niang is the Chinese Goddess of Good Weather. She is also known as the Broom Lady. She lives on the Broom Star, Sao Chou, and sweeps the clouds. She sweeps them in when rain is needed and out when it is not. Farmers often hang pictures of brooms on their fences when in need of Sao Ch’ing’s services.
