Cherry Dazzle Crape Myrtle (background here) grows to a max ht width of 3-5 ft. In the spring, the foliage is a bronze-tinted green. Summer brings darker green foliage and explosions of bright red clusters of blossoms. As the blooms fade in the fall, the foliage turns a brilliant red-orange. Cherry Dazzle Crape Myrtle is disease resistant, drought resistant, and it grows well in most areas of the country, as long as the winter temperatures don’t fall below ten degrees.
