This is BEYOND Love....“A newborn baby abandoned in a Kenyan forest was saved by a stray dog who apparently carried her across a busy road and through a barbed wire fence to a shed where the infant was discovered nestled with her litter of puppies.” CNN and CBS News covered this story as well. - - And this is why I tend to like animals more than people.
A one-year-old hen has adopted a litter of puppies much to the bemusement of their canine mother. Mabel has taken to keeping the small dogs warm by snuggling up to them while their mother, Nettle, sits out in the yard at a farm
MISLABELED: Pinned as "Newborn wombat" this is an orphan--not a newborn. Wombats are marsupials and as such their babies are born very tiny. At birth, the baby wombat, called a joey, will weigh approximately 2 grams, less than one-tenth of an ounce, and be about the size of a jelly bean, 2 cm (0.75 inches) long.
