Healthy Banana-Blueberry Muffins

Plenty of people have their own go-to muffin recipe, but this light, moist rendition is hard to beat. If the bananas on your countertop are looking overripe, don't throw them out; they'll add even more flavor to these whole-wheat muffins.

    Healthy Banana-Blueberry Muffins--200 calories each. I changed a lot of this recipe actually; I had strawberries, so I used those instead of blueberries. I didn't have wheat germ on hand (who does?) so I used oatmeal instead (actually I used half a pack of instant oatmeal), and I used almond milk rather than 2%. They were so good! Excellent breakfast muffins with fruit and whole-wheat goodness.

    Healthy banana blueberry muffins! We added peaches, nectarines, and flaxseed and also substituted 2 tablespoons of butter with applesauce and it was possibly the best healthy muffin I've ever had!
