Mile-High Apple Pie (Martha Stewart's Favorite) - fabulous; I added little bits of honeycomb to the filling as I was adding the small chunks of butter to thicken the pie...didn't add a strong flavor but the filling was great so I'd try it again; I used only the juice from 1 Meyer Lemon, and it was perfect; I used 7 large Ginger Gold apples, which came out to about 5.5 lbs; read the directions thoroughly before starting any steps, especially the baking instructions
Apple Pie Recipe---oh my gooooooodness this was so delicious. I will definitely be making this again...soon. Next time I would sprinkle sugar on top of the crust before baking and peel the green apples. The red apples were fine unpeeled.
