Leap Year [2010] - starring Amy Adams & Matthew Goode. This film is about a woman who heads to Ireland to ask her boyfriend to accept her wedding proposal on leap day, when Irish tradition holds that men cannot refuse a woman's proposal for marriage. Her plans are interrupted by a series of unlikely events & further complicated when she hires a handsome innkeeper to take her to Dublin. Ok so it's not the best movie ever & the critics gave it a roasting, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

When life comes to a halt, what you need is a new perspective. A troubled young man with joie de vivre takes up the role of the caretaker for a quadriplegic and their lives change forever. Intouchables is a fun ride but not stupid. It has got emotion but not too much drama. A wonderful movie to watch and live it up![7.5/10]

A Good Year - Um Bom Ano (2006) A British investment broker inherits his uncle's chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of his childhood. He discovers a new laid-back lifestyle as he tries to renovate the estate to be sold.

Leap Year. I really do love this movie. It's one of my favorite modern chick flicks, even though it's cheesy and a bit odd and awkward at times. :) So charming and funny, and the Irish scenery is gorgeous. Also...how does Amy Adams manage to have perfect hair, even after traipsing through Ireland on foot through rain and hailstorms? It's quite impressive.
