Curried Crab with Coconut and Chili

2 1/4 lbs Live crab


5 Garlic cloves
1 tbsp Ginger, fresh
1 Green chile, large
1 Tomato, medium ripe
1 White onion

Canned Goods

9 oz Coconut milk, unsweetened

Baking & Spices

1 tbsp Chile powder
1/4 cup Coriander seeds
1 tbsp Peppercorns, whole black
1 Sea salt
1/2 oz Turmeric, fresh

Oils & Vinegars

1 tbsp Canola oil
5 1/2 oz White wine vinegar

Nuts & Seeds

1 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
2 oz Desiccated coconut


10 Curry, fresh leaves

Curry Crab is such a delicious and tasty just have to try it if you haven't before! We always manage to prepare a few dishes during crab season, while the crabs are at their best. I had this dish in Macau last year, and I knew I had to replicate it at home.

Baked Crab Rangoon: 12 Won Ton wrappers in mini muffin tins filled with mixture of 1 can (6 oz.) white crabmeat, drained and chopped 4 oz. softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise, ½ teas. Sriracha, 2 teas. finely slice chives, fresh ground pepper to taste. Garnish with a sprinkle of chives. Bake 15-20 min. at 350 degrees until lightly golden and warm.
