Kale Chips - UPDATE: I just made the salt and vinegar chips. So good! And they were really easy! However, the recipe says 15 minutes, but mine were browning at 13. They probably could have come out even sooner. Keep an eye on them in the oven. But definitely very good!
1. The oven temperature is so so so key! 350 is the magic number! And you want to bake not broil. 2. Line your baking sheet with foil. I don't know why but anytime I've skipped this step and just laid my kale directly on the baking sheet I've not gotten the same light crunch. It matters - so line the sheet - it makes the clean up nice and easy too! 3. No matter what recipe you use to flavor your kale chips be sure to squeeze a little lemon juice on them before baking.
Homemade spicy garlic kale chips! 1. wash and dry kale. tear into bite-sized piece toss olive oil, salt, garlic powder, crushed pepper flakes (or herbs)lay out on cookie sheet covered in foil place in oven (300 degrees F) bake for 20 minutes enjoy!
