I so have to try this! Crochet around a rope light and turn into a floor mat. Maybe I could use this as a night light in the kids room!

"A while back I was in Home Depot where I saw this marine rope in lots of colors and decided right then that I had to crochet a bath mat/welcome mat out of it. I used a gigantic hook and plenty of muscle. Nobody would wipe their feet on it, though, so I put it in the bathroom." Home of casapinka. And I LOVE this.

"Good Night" Night Light. — This would be perfect hanging under a loft by your futon if you want a little light while you're relaxing at night. I'd probably scale it down and use a lighter painters canvas + large-bulb string lights so you can hang it on a wall hook without worrying about it being too heavy. (Just don't leave it on overnight! Might get too hot with the string lights.)
