A family photo that shows a little girl beside her father and his fellow soldiers in uniform as they prepare to go to war. Four-year-old Paige Bennethum really, really didn't want her daddy to go to Iraq. So much so, that when Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum lined up in formation at his deployment this July, she couldn't let go. No one had the heart to pull her away. Cutest thing ever<3

Just found out she (this pic) was the inspiration for Clint Black's new song "She Wouldn't Let Go", which he is performing on Good Morning America tomorrow.

So sad..." well NO I can guarantee that he is doing it FOR HIS FAMILY, for the income, for their safety, and for their country. Yes, It's sad - but it's no different than leaving the kids for a 9-5 job everyday.

precious! meeting his baby for the first time.

Wonder if he's returning from deployment, or just heading out. The epitome of gentleness and nurturing from this young Marine as he cradles his infant child in his arms.
