DONAIR! It's nothing like a Euro or Gyro, but it's a Halifax delicacy that everyone needs to try at least once!   I once had a highschool teacher who asked, "If you were stranded in the desert and had to choose between a glass of water or a donair, which should you pick?" The answer was, "Donair, because it will give you the will to survive so you can eat another donair."
