THE FUN BUN aka how to do a top knot. this is actually really easy for short-ish hair too! just a few more bobby pins keeping the hair up top.

Best thing is; it’s easy to do, gorgeous and keeps your hair out of your way for the night. I made this a printable tutorial, so all of the steps are next to the photos. Enjoy! Tools you’ll need: curling iron (to prep the hair with waves), sectioning clips, teasing comb or brush, clear elastic rubber band, bobby pins, light to medium holding hairspray (to mist over at the end).

. It’s just a regular braid, but instead of taking 3 equal sized pieces like you do in a normal braid, you just make one piece smaller than the other 2.

Tipped Out! Tools: Highlighting comb, Clips, Foils, Color brush, Hair bleach with the appropriate volume (always seek a professional when using bleach), Light pink color, Dark pink color, Light blue, Dark blue, and Clear gloss.

MUST TRY! Things Needed: Curling Iron, Elastic Band, Bobby Pins, Comb & Hair Spray. 1) Curl hair and create a low pony tail with the bottom middle portion of the hair & divide the rest into 3 sections 2) Tease the top portion & twist it down to the ponytail & pin it 3) Tease side portion & twist it to the ponytail & pin it 4) Repeat on other side 5) Add some hair spray & you are ready to go!

Sigh, see, I don't need the riches, I just need you, my dear muses, for we are rich in love and beauty.

I love this. LOVE it. For me, but I don't know about work. I could totally do this your hair, but your mother might kill me and ground you for life.

A lovely young Victorian woman shows off her impressive head of wavy hair -- worthy of Rapunzel. Looks like waves from tight braiding.

Amazing braids. Photo by Parker Fitzgerald.

Side braid. Seems obvious, but I always seem to add too much hair along the way down and then it looks weird.
