A body, Borremose III or Borremose Woman, was found in '48, approx 1,300 ft south of Borremose man. She was 25-30y/o at death. She was face down wrapped in a wool garment. Her scalp & hair on 1 side of the head was damaged but this was due to damage from peat digger's shovels. The skull & face were crushed. Reexamination found damage to the skull happened after death & was caused by bone deterioration & pressure from the peat. Dating set the body's age to ca. 770 BC.
