Cut out a snowman shape from cardboard or poster board and mount it to the wall. Cut out a variety of accompanying facial features and Velcro them to a strip mounted next to the snowman. Put Velcro on the snowman so that children can use the pieces to create their own snowman character throughout the day. We chose to include facial expressions that represent basic emotions for the children to practice becoming familiar with basic emotions such as happy, sad, angry, and scared.
