Love this!- So glad my parents understand that Christmas isn't about spending money, but about spending time together. Makes it so much easier. I hate buying junk that I really can't afford and that no one else likes. So, we're having a real Christmas not about Presents this year.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL ~ Charles Dickens. This is my favorite Christmas Story...and I have a number of them. I never tire of it. It's been made in to TV productions & Movies. It is truly a classic. Just reading the descriptions of an old English Christmas within these pages is a marvel. (I will add this is Kevin's favorite Christmas movie and our absolute Christmas Eve tradition. T.F.)
This Dickens quote is a paraphrasing of a line from Book 3, Chapter 2 of Our Mutual Friend (1864-1865): "And if it's proud to have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts," Miss Jenny struck in, flushed, "she is proud."
Looks like they wrote on a door, i could do this on my front door instead of a wreath
