"zentangle"... oh is THAT what I do called? I always just called it "organic doodling". zentangles... hmmm...

You could use watercolours or inks to create a wash of blended colours, wait till it dries, then use the fineliners to create detailed drawings on top.

Beyond gorgeous. Looks MS or HS but I bet I could get my 5th graders to do something along these lines.....in rainbow order, zentangles, a mix....soooo pretty!

When I was young one of my favorite things to draw and color was something similar to this. It's a crazy quilt style of movement, harmony and color. I began in the center of a page and let the pencil flow over the page intersecting, overlapping line and loops with one easy flow; then filled in the holes however I enjoyed doing so. Anyone else do that?
