This sauce is so easy to make, has a delicious rich flavor, and uses real ingredients. It’s better than any jarred sauce you can find at the store, and there is always plenty left over to freeze for another meal or two in the future.
Pioneer Woman's sloppy joes. Made this tonight (for another nights dinner) w/Lauras Lean beef, Kroger organic ketchup, organic garlic (I used much less), Muir Glen organic tomato paste, organic dry mustard, organic brown sug, sea salt, freshly ground pepper. Left out the red pepper flakes/green pepper/onion. Delicious!! Quality ingredients make all the difference.
Grandma’s Spaghetti Sauce in the Crockpot. This is my GO TO sauce. It has a slow all day cooked flavor and it makes enough sauce for 2 meals for a family of 4. It also freezes beautifully. I add about 4 cloves of fresh garlic 1/2 C of a dried italian herb blend (Find it in the bulk spice bins at acme), and 1/2 C of sugar.
