I love Apple Butter, but I cut out refined sugar from my diet, so in place of the brown sugar and white sugar I've used agave and honey in the past... trying two different batches today with Jonagolds and Crispin apples :)

Slow Cooker Apple Butter - 9/19, this sort of worked, needed to let it cook without the lid at the end to cook off some excess liquid. But the taste is great!

Going to try this but modified. I don't have Herbs De Provence so I'm not sure what I will rub it with. I don't have red peppers so I'll layer the bottom with onion and carrots and stuff the bird with apples, carrots and onion. We'll see how it tastes.
