This is THEE recipe but do this: triple it and add 1/2 cup butter to sauce. Boil & add brats. Cook slow 3 hrs !!! Take out and grill and return to sauce with a package of sauerkraut one more hour. Serve w noodles or German potato salad and cooked red cabbage. Now you've got the real thing !!! Enjoy melt in your mouth brats.
